Cora was born in Mesa, Arizona, November 10, 1932, to parents Odie C. LaRue and Janet (Holley) LaRue. She attended Mesa High School, where she met her dear husband Gary Arlen Terry following his family’s move to Mesa from Wyoming. Cora was in the Marching Band and Gary played trumpet in the Band. She and Gary married on April 4, 1953, three years after they graduated High School. Between both Cora and Gary, their love of music was instilled in each of their children, for which we are grateful.
Cora had great faith in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a deep love for the temple. She was an active steward of the gospel, and a wonderful example to others throughout her life.
Cora is survived by her three sons, G. Stephen (Wendi), Gregory A. (Tracy), Grant B. (Tammara) and a daughter, Kelly Coppinger (Cary). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and many wonderful great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary, her brother Nevell LaRue, and her sister Lora E. (LaRue) Stewart.
A private service will be held for close family and friends.
