Crystal Leigh Ann Tumminia, age 42, of Phoenix, Arizona, entered into heaven on January 22, 2025. Born in Tampa, Florida, on December 30, 1982, she was the beloved daughter of Debra Mannell Bialy and the late Jack Lynn York. She was the second of four siblings and shared a deep bond with her family. Crystal spent her early years surrounded by the beauty of the South. Though born in Florida, her family traveled extensively throughout the Southwest and Eastern United States, with much of her childhood spent along the picturesque Mississippi Gulf Coast. As a teenager, Crystal moved with her family to Phoenix, Arizona, to be closer to her mother’s extended family. She embraced her new home and found joy in helping others, utilizing her clerical and office skills to carve out a meaningful career.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Crystal had an undeniable passion for beauty, fashion, and cosmetology. She was a natural presence in any room—her striking features, magnetic confidence, and radiant personality made her unforgettable. Her ability to captivate others extended beyond appearance; she exuded warmth, generosity, and a deep care for those around her. Crystal cherished her friends, often taking on the role of caretaker in their shared home. She was intentionally kind, always seeking ways to support and uplift those she loved. She remained devoted to her family, frequently reaching out to her mother, aunt, and sisters, ensuring they felt her presence through both time and thoughtful gestures.
Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Jack Lynn York, and her brother, Matthew Dylan York.
She is survived by her loving mother, Debra Mannell Bialy; her sisters, Amber (York) Saujon and Hannah Joy Bialy; and many dear friends and extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Crystal’s legacy is one of love, confidence, and generosity. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
