

Daisy Belle Cornelison, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 96 years. Daisy was born on November 18, 1927 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of William Henry and Lula May (Ryan) Kelley. Since 1944, Daisy has called Arizona home. Daisy will be missed by all her family and friends.
Daisy spent most of her adult life working with the State of Arizona, Phoenix Union High School System. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Arizona Community Church, Palmcroft Church, and she also attended regularly Bellevue Heights Church. She was an avid reader, writer, an adventurer, and she loved to travel. Daisy was also a master gamer at cards, dominos, and washers.
Daisy was predeceased by her parents William and Lula, her brothers Barney Kelley, Odell Kelley, Floyd T. Kelley, Leroy Kelley, and Paul Kelley; and her sisters Henrietta Kuehn, Cora Mahoney, and Margaret Rutherford. She is survived by her three children Duke (Mary) Clark, Gina Beck, and Terri (Steve) Daugherty; her brother Melvin Kelley; her four grandchildren David (Leah) Clark, Doug (Lisa) Clark, Lyndsay Beck, and Summer Beck; as well as her nine great grandchildren.
Daisy’s family would like to thank Hospice of the West and especially her caregivers Jen, Melissa, Heath, Dawn, Kayla and Lynnsey for the care and compassion they showed Daisy in her final days.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 9:00am to 10:30am at Palmcroft Church, 15825 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85053 with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:30am.
