

Daniel Clair Buckingham passed into the presence of his Lord in Mesa, Arizona, on Thursday, June 21st, 2012. Dan, affectionately known as Buck by family and friends, was 58. He was born in Willard, Ohio to Rita and Clair Buckingham. He moved to Arizona in 1968 and graduated from Westwood High School. Along with his brothers and sister, he sang as part of the St. Andrew's Singers ministry. He was employed for forty years at Phoenix Swiss Corporation as a machinist. He always enjoyed bowling, hunting, the Cowboys and a game of cards with family and friends, especially Euchre.
He lived life to the fullest, with his beloved wife of 31 years, Jeannie. He cherished their daughter, Michelle Bosworth, and his granddogs, Humphrey and Murphy. He will be remembered for his love for his Lord and family, wonderful smile, cowboy hat, strength, integrity and sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife Jeannie, his daughter Michelle Bosworth, his parents Clair and Rita Buckingham, sister Cindy Bruner, brothers Dick Buckingham and Joe Buckingham, along with many other family members. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at Carr-Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd. in Tempe. A celebration of his life will take place immediately following the service in Brentwood West's Clubhouse located at 3104 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Faith Christian School, 7464 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85207, in thanksgiving for his new life with the Lord.
