Daniel McVicker went home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2016. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 1, 1936. He married his true love, Linda McVicker, on June 27, 1959, and they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Sadly, Linda passed away on September 27, 2015. Now, Dan and Linda are reunited in Heaven. Dan is survived by his four children and their spouses: Brian and Tamara McVicker, Michael and Sally McVicker, Heather and Jim Miller, and Eric McVicker. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. He is survived by one brother, Edward McVicker. Dan is remembered for being a strong man of God, for his resonant bass voice, for his outstanding golf talent, and for being a surrogate father to many.
Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 pm on Friday, January 15, 2016, at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Graveside services will be held at 10am on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Phoenix Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at North Valley Assembly of God, 28660 N Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
