Daniel Allen Scott

Daniel A. "Danny" Scott, June 26, 1956-December 11, 2011 resident of Phoenix after a courageous 9 year battle with cancer. Danny passed away peacefully at his home. Danny was born & raised in Phoenix & attended Cortez High School. Danny retired from Union Pacific Railroad, after 26 yrs of service. He was one of five children born to the late Bill Scott Sr. & Molly Cota and was the beloved husband of Hilda Scott for over 30 years. Danny will be forever remembered by his devoted brothers Bill Jr. (Stella), Paul (Joanne), Robert (Deborah), sisters; Susie (Manual), Mary, Barbara, & Juan. He was preceded by his father in law Bobby & brother in law Robert, treasured Children Dennis (Virginia), Robert, Valerie (Oscar), and Daniel Jr. cherished grandchildren Ashley, Robert Jr., Dennis Jr., Desirae, Sonny, Michael, Jasmine, Daniel Jr., Zachary, Daisy, Nathan, and Maxx, along with countless other family and friends whom were blessed to know him. Danny loved being with his family and having fun with his friends. Danny loved fishing, listening, dancing, and playing music with his brothers. We will miss Danny playing the Harmonica, Bongos, & singing us the Blues. Danny touched the lives of many people with courageous bravery, willingness to go the extra mile as he welcomed many with open arms. Friends & Family are invited to attend Services on Friday, December 16, 2011 5-8pm @ Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W. Bethany, Phoenix, AZ.
