Darlene Virginia Cobb 91, of Phoenix, passed away on January 7, 2015. Darlene was born on November 17, 1923 in Oklahoma and was a Valley resident for more than 70 years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer and her son Donald. Darlene is survived by her son, Ronald, daughter-in-law, Sharon (Donald), 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. Darlene loved cooking, gardening and sewing. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary Chapel, 2350 E. Greenway Rd., Phoenix. A committal service will follow at 12:30 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N cave Creek Rd., Phoenix.
