

Derrek Dionne age 29, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on February 18, 2015 at his home in Peoria, AZ. He was born May 1, 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Debera Roberts Coronado and Lonnie Leonard Dionne.
Derrek graduated from Peoria High School in 2003, where he was a member of FFA and won the Skills USA State Gold Medal in Automotive. This gave Derrek and Mr. Quinn the opportunity to compete at Nationals in Kansas City, Missouri and a scholarship to Universal Technical Institute. He graduated from UTI and was accepted to the Jaguar Automotive training program in Orlando, Florida. Derrek’s career in the automotive industry lead him all over Arizona and ultimately back home to Peoria.
Derrek loved his family and was a loyal friend. Some of his favorite things were his little nephew Barrett, Mom’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, twirling her hair (or whoever would allow him to), chips and cheese (mostly cheese) and his big trucks, big watches and sunglasses. He had a passion for motor racing from the time he was a little boy.
He will be remembered for his boisterous laugh, helpful nature and desire to make the most of every moment. We will miss Derrek every minute of every day.
He is survived by his Mother, Stepfather Frank Coronado, Brother Dustin (Susie) Sister Danylle Mason (Broderick) Nephews Jacob Coronado and Barrett Mason. Half Brothers Leonard and Lee Dionne. Stepbrother Steven Coronado, Stepsisters Denice, Jackie and Valarie. Grandpa Max and Grandma Ruth, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Preceded in death by his father Lonnie Dionne
A Memorial Service will be he at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 7871 West Acoma Dr Peoria Arizona 85381. Arrangements under the direction of A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary 710 West Bethany Home RoadPhoenix, Arizona
