Diana was born on April 18, 1954, in Elmhurst, Illinois, the daughter of John Frederick Younglove (1932-2018) and Arlene Rae (Roule) Younglove (1934-2020). From the beginning, she brought warmth, light, and kindness to the lives of everyone around her. She grew up in Carol Stream, Illinois, where she lived with her five brothers and sisters. Diana married our dad, Joseph Martin Molling, on June 23, 1979, and a year later, they moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
To those who knew her, Diana was more than a mother - she was a friend, a teacher, and a steady source of love and encouragement. She devoted her life to caring for her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. Her laughter filled our home, her hugs made everything better, andher wisdom will continue to guide us every day.
Diana was a devoted believer of Jesus and constantly put her faith in Him. Whenever she was sad, she would settled down in front of her piano and play from her hymn books until she felt better. She would also sing and then say she was making a joyful noise unto the Lord. Diana would also spend time at the public library diving deep into genealogy. She enjoyed baking batch after batch of Christmas cookies and decking her halls with a generous amount of Christmas decorations.
She leaves behind her husband, Joseph; her children, Melissa Ruth Young, Garret Frederick Molling, and Bethany Lynn Charis-Molling; and her siblings, Deborah Younglove, John Younglove Jr., David Younglove, Paul Younglove, and Wendy Younglove. Her grandchildren, Taylor Young, Alexa Gardner, Jaslynn Marchant, Landon Molling, and Hayden Charis-Molling will greatly miss their "Oma." Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing that she lives on in the love she gave and the memories we hold.
A visitation will be held on November 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Phoenix Memorial Park, also located at 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Chicago, Illinois area, currently planned to take place in the summer of 2026. Family and friends are invited to come together, share stories, and honor a life beautifully lived. In keeping with her generous spirit, donations in her memory may be made to Desert Hills Presbyterian Church (deserthills.org), Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org), or Turning Point USA.
Mom, your love is our forever home. You will be missed beyond words but remembered in everything we do.
