She was born to Jessie Lee and William Terrell Clark on December 10th, 1941 in Jones County, Texas. A few years later, the family moved to Glendale, Arizona where Jo grew up, graduated from Glendale High School, met and eventually married the love of her life on May 25th, 1960, and started a family.
Jo is survived by her husband Jerry, son Kevin and spouse Judy, daughter Laurie and spouse Mike, grandchildren Sean and Nikki, and great-grandchildren Hailey, Cayden, Charlie Hazel, Axis and her sister Margie O’Brien. She is preceded in death by her parents Jessie and Terrell Clark.
Besides being a loving mother, wife and little sister, Jo had a true knack for making everybody feel comfortable and welcome in her home where there would always be a warm hug waiting for you.
As an avid reader, she passed her time in mysteries, Civil War stories, and biographies. After she retired from Ping as an HR Coordinator in 2009, she adventured into book editing.
Jo enjoyed gardening, hiking, crafting, and spending time with her husband, children, grand and great-grandchildren and Casey, her Boxer.
Her touch, warmth, and beautiful smile will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Jo’s Life will be held on May 25th, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Phoenix Memorial Park.
