Our sincere condolences to the family in the loss of their wonderful mother, "gummi", sister and best friend, Donna Bogard.

We lived next door to Donna for 25 years. She was the best neighbor we could imagine – kind, honest, witty, and fun loving. Over the years we became very good friends and we always told Donna she was like our second "Mom". Her family are like an extension of her, all very good and generous people, as she raised them well. They have always included us in their family get-togethers on holidays and special occasions and they are like family to us.

We spent many hours visiting with Donna over the years.  She was warm and friendly and always happy to see us. She was a life long Phoenix resident and we enjoyed her stories about Phoenix in the early days when she was young.  We went to plays and out to lunch with an occasional run to Costco and shared recipes. She was a very good cook. Being such a thoughtful person, she always brought dinner to my husband when I was out of town visiting my parents. She was very generous with her fruit trees and kept us well supplied with grapefruit. She loved hamburgers and we loved to take her a grilled burger when we cooked on the grill. She enjoyed celebrating all holidays but she especially loved Christmas and decorated her home with the help of her daughters and sister inside and out. We always looked forward to seeing her decor during the season and the joy it brought her. 

She was a very positive, cheerful person. Even when her health was failing she never complained. She loved life and lived it to its fullest. Her love and joy for her family and friends was always evident. Truly an exceptional woman, she lived well and will live on within all who knew her. Donna will be greatly missed by many and remembered forever. Rest in peace, dear Donna.

Donna will be missed by all of us. We’re so grateful that we had the opportunity to visit with her in January on our visit to Scottsdale.  We will miss her smile and positive attitude toward life. Rest In Peace.

I remember Donna as a friendly , strong and energetic vibrant young woman older than me at time sense I was from another generation. . I took note of her and admired her as  she had my mother in law’s Sarah’s strength  and  zip energy , and I would say her humor . 
At the time I was married to her brother Tony and we were like a lot of couples  just starting out with little and a first child (Craig) . At a visit to see her . . I mentioned   that I had no decent 
Kitchen cutlery to cook with .... 
she immediately  took a set she had and handed it to me . I was  taken back by her generosity so quickly .  I kept those kitchen cutlery knives  for years and  every time I picked one up I thought Of 
Donna and that day and how much at the time it meant to me . 
May you Donna be in a joyous spot with our sweet God and Lord happy and unburdened by earthly life  but left with all Joys you gave while here in from your lovely heart  .  Valene Marshall  ( previous Sister-in-law ) 

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and traveling with Donna many times over the years and always enjoyed her company.  She had a great sense of humor, enjoyed life and loved being around her family and friends.  She had the biggest and best smile and she always looked great for a photo. I will certainly miss my friend.  My deepest condolences to the Bogard family.  

Donna came Las Vegas several times with her daughter Kathy for her Arizona Bowlerette tournaments . Donna always had a kind word and a smile for everyone she met. She will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her entire family at this time.
