

Earl Warner was born on August 18, 1931, in Neffs, Ohio to Ann Urich and Earl Warner Sr. He grew up understanding the importance of family and community. His passion for the outdoors guided him through the local Boy Scout program where he achieved the prestigious level of Eagle Scout.
Earl enlisted with the Marine Corps in 1951. He was shipped overseas to fight in Korea and returned as a decorated veteran receiving a Purple Heart. Upon his return, he married his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Raspa on February 8, 1953.
He attended Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio and Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio where he received a Master’s degree in Geology. He was immediately hired by Chevron to work as a petroleum geologist in Texas and Louisiana. They raised their two daughters, Debra and Pam, in various cities in both states.
Earl & Eleanor were long time residence of Kingwood, Texas and devoted members of the Kingwood Methodist Church. Earl taught Sunday School there for 20 years. After retirement, Earl refined his skills as a woodworker and carver and eventually started Olde World St. Nicks. He sold his hand carved Santa Claus figures for over 40 years.
After 44 years in Kingwood, the Warners moved to Phoenix, Arizona where their daughter Debra and her husband John Wallace reside.
He is survived by his wife Eleanor, his sister Judy Rhoden of Florida, his daughters, Pam Warner of Houston, Texas, Debra Warner and her husband John Wallace of Phoenix, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, located at 5510 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85013. The service is scheduled for July 25, 2025, at 10:00 am.
