Edie Hach was a beloved mother, wife, and grandmother who dedicated her life to others. She was a teacher, Girl Scout leader, softball coach, caretaker, and volunteered for the Paradise Valley School district as a mentor for college bound students. She actively supported the National Head Injury Foundation and spoke to high school classes about brain injuries. She was one of the first women to graduate from Niagara University where she was valedictorian. She lived in Ohio until 1970 before moving to Arizona where she raised her children and spoiled her grandchildren. Edie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. She is survived by daughter Linda (John) Lambert, daughter Cathie Winski, son Richard Hach, and grandchildren Carl (Rebecca), Cathryn (Chad), Cole (Victoria), Brittany (Kenny), Brooke (Jordan), Briana (Kevin), and great-grandchildren Brandon, Beckett, Bryce, Jaxon, Sadie, and soon to be Baby Blake. She will always be remembered for her “no sorry” at cards, her nightly Uno games, her photographic memory of the TV Guide, and the many, many, many, many books she read! She had the most non-judgmental attitude, she didn’t care what you or your house looked like or what you owned. We will miss her listening ear, smile and hugs. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Love always as you join our other loved ones in a better place. We know you are looking down through the holes of heaven to watch over us. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to a charity of your choice.
