Edward Orozco Contreras, 87 of Phoenix, passed away on September 19, 2011. Edward was born in Clarksdale, Az on August 3 1924, and proudly served his country in WW II. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Contreras Sr, Mother Susana Orozco Juarique, his wife Margret Contreras, brother Johnny Contreras Jr, Daughter Linda Flores, sons Manuel and Eddie Contreras Jr.. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca C. Contreras, step-son Rudy Santa Cruz, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Greenwood Mortuary Chapel, 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix. A funeral Service will follow at Greenwood Chapel at 10:00 AM.
