Edward D Majors, 79, of Sun City, passed away suddenly while on vacation in Indiana. He was golfing and fishing, catching his limit every day. Ed was born in Alabama and moved to Phoenix after his Korean Era Naval Service. He was a longtime employee of Allied Signal/Honeywell. Ed is survived by his second wife, Myrtle, 2 children, Ellyn Johnson (Michael) and Susan Robinson (Steve). 3 grandchildren, Michael Robinson (Dawn), Diana Robinson and Matthew Robinson and 1 great-grandchild, William Harris Jr. He also leaves 2 brothers, Herbert Jr. and David and his sister, Dot. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Jayne. A Memorial service will be held at 6 pm, Friday, June 24, 2011 at A L Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Road in Phoenix.
