He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; son, Mark, and grandson, Lani. He is survived by his daughter, Carol Ann; son, T.J. and wife Elly; grandson, Kekai and great grandson, Seth along with nephews and nieces.
A visitation for Smiley will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7950 W. Pinnacle Peak Road, Peoria, Arizona 85383. A funeral service will follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Graveside committal with military honors will be at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W Van Buren, Phoenix, 85009 at 11:45 AM.
