

Our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Emilia Nuñez Urias, at the age of 87 passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 7th, 2023, after complications from Alzheimer's / Dementia.
Emilia "Millie" was born to Andres and Isabel Nuñez in Phoenix, Arizona and was one of eleven children.
Millie was known to be a woman of strength and determination. Millie's passion and love for flowers turned into a lifetime career as a skilled floral designer.
Her career began in her late teens at Conroys Wholesale Florist. She instantly became part of the Conroys family for the next four decades. She then continued her craft with The Flower Market and then on to Baseline Flowers. She and Jose Urias married in 1996 and durning their time together they enjoyed and shared the love of music, dancing and traveling. She retired in 2001 to spend more time with her husband.
She will be fondly remembered to all of her family and friends for her beautiful smile and creating the most beautiful floral arrangements for their loved ones.
Millie never lost sight of her humble beginnings and remained devoted to her faith and family.
She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Paul Rivera, Terrie Baduini, Steven Rivera (Gina), Irma Rivas (Andy), Diane Nuñez, Denise Milsaps, Derek Urias, 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Frances and Mary; husband Jose Urias and her stepson Danny Urias.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Millie on Friday February 10th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral 6351 N. 28th Ave., Phoenix, Arizona
Graveside services immediately after the Mass at: St. Francis Catholic Cemetery 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix, Arizona
Celebration of Life Reception to follow at: Continental Villas West Club House 1745 W. Stella Ln., Phoenix, Arizona
