Emily Patricia Granillo

Emily Patricia Granillo entered into eternal rest on April 7, 2013 at the young age of 63 years old. She was born on December 5, 1949 in Holbrook AZ to Librada and Bonifacio Duran. Emily was a graduate of Flagstaff High School, class of 1968. She also attended Flagstaff Beauty College where she became a licensed cosmetologist in 1969. Emily had a special gift for applying makeup and creating unique hair styles. Emily was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Ramon Granillo, her brother Anastacio (Ned) Vigil, her mother Librada Duran, and her father Bonifacio Duran. Emily is survived by her two children Monica and Manuel Granillo. Emily was a very proud Grandmother of Anthony Granillo (Manuel) and Kamiah Miller (Monica). Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Emily is also survived by three wonderful sisters, Sandra Duran, Rosemary (Juan) Mina, and Madalin (William) Gearhart. Emily also leaves behind a long list of cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. Emily was a loving, caring, and very religious person. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, and a friend to many. She is loved by many and will be dearly missed by us all. We love you very much Mom.

A rosary will be held in honor of Emily at Greenwood Memory Lawn on 4/20/2013 at 11am. (719 N. 27th Avenue Phoenix, AZ 85009)
