

Ingram, Emogene Fern 78, of Rogers, Arkansas and a former long-time resident of Glendale passed away October 6th. She was born July 31, 1936 in Palestine, Arkansas to the late Thomas William Roy Hooker and Lola Angeline Turner Hooker. For 35 years she was the loving wife of the late Marion Arthur Ingram and many years she worked at GBC Bookbinding where she retired as a supervisor. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, who enjoyed crocheting and playing games. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Renea Ingram; a son-in-law, Brian Long and 3 brothers Merle, Preston and Denford Hooker. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah A. Long of Glendale; 2 brothers, George Hooker of Indiana and Wayne (Kathy) Hooker of Oklahoma; 4 sisters, Fleeda Cummings, Lee Joyce (Linville) Turnage, Janice Martin-Toll and Mabel (Kenneth) Lynn all of Arkansas. Family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday, October 13 in the chapel of Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd in Phoenix, with the funeral service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2939 W. Rose Garden Ln. Tuesday beginning at 10 am. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of Arizona. Arrangements locally are under the care of Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary and Rollins Funeral Home in Arkansas.
