

Ernest Bryan “Jack” Lovett Jr., 90, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015. He was surrounded by his family at his home in Phoenix. Jack was born on July 29th, 1925 in Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. His parents were Ernest “Si” and Pearl Hyman Lovett who lived near Roll, Oklahoma. Jack’s parents moved to California and then Reno, Nevada where he met his future wife, Dorothie Marie Boyer they were married November 25, 1943. Jack and Dorothie moved to Borger, Texas lived there for 14 years then moved to Phoenix in 1960 with their two children Roni and Dallas.
Jack was a businessman who owned an automotive company for 45 years in Phoenix. His passion was horses, he rode a horse to school when he was 6 years old and later became a professional team roper. He was a member of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse of Phoenix and Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Jack lived life to its fullest and will always be remembered for his laughter. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Dorothie Marie Boyer, his children RaLana “Roni” Lovett and Dallas Lee Lovett of Phoenix. A viewing will be held at 10:00AM to 11:00AM and funeral service will be held at 11:00AM to 12:00PM on Wednesday October 14th, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary in Phoenix 2350 E. Greenway Rd.
