Ethel Lee Cox "Nana" 88, passed away peacefully July 27, 2014 with family at her side. Ethel was born October 16, 1925 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Ethel met her husband Tom, now deceased, in college and was married for 55 years. Ethel is survived by her two children, Barbara (Pat) Olinger and Larry (Cathi) Cox; six grandchildren, Shannon (David) Kaiman, Katie (Brian) Eastwood, Meghan (Tim) Harrington, Tom Cox II, Kelly Cox and Brittney (Jared) Vargo; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan Kaiman, Regan Kaiman, Dylan Kaiman, Brandi Woolsey, SArah Cox, Emma Peterson and Cole Peterson. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church 5510 North Central Avenue, Phoenix. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Phoenix City Grill 5816 North 16th Street - SW corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home Road.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church.
