

Eva Pinedo, 76, passed away on May 4, 2013. She was born on June 25, 1936 to Albert and Carmen Verdugo. The role of wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother brought her great joy. She also enjoyed going to her home in Forest Lakes, AZ and watching “her” blue jays and elk. Eva designed and made jewelry for family and friends. She was also committed to helping others and crocheted clothes for premature babies that she donated to numerous hospitals around Phoenix. She dealt with many illnesses with grace, with humor and a smile. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Ralph S. Pinedo, daughter Patricia Morgan (Dusty), daughter Catherine Lopez (Randy) and son, Steven Pinedo; grandchildren Tanya Pinkerton (Ron), Aaron Morgan (Casey), Andrew Morgan (Angela), Eric Pinedo and Tim Pinedo and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Paige, Dylan and Trevor. She is also survived by her siblings Marylou Verdugo, Evelyn Sanchez, Albert Jr., Fred and Ted Verdugo. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for your prayers and thoughts or a donation to Banner Health Foundation in honor of Eva. Visitation will be at A.L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 West Bethany Home, Phoenix AZ from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a rosary from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday May 8, 2013. Mass services will be at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 10815 North 35th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ at 10 a.m. on Thursday May 9, 2013 followed by inurnment at St. Francis Cemetery, 2330 N 48th Lane.
