

Evelyn Jean Nolan, age 85, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Evelyn was born February 8, 1937 in East Prairie, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Thomas Morgan and Ruby Morgan Schneider, husband James K. Nolan, and her brother Earl Lee Morgan.
Evelyn leaves her nephew, Douglas (Stacey) Morgan and sister-in-law Dee Morgan (Galax, Virginia), stepsons Mike Nolan (Pierson, Florida) and Kenny (Teri) Nolan (Tucson, Arizona) step-daughters Tara Martinez (Phoenix, Arizona) and Tauna Arnold (Tucson, Arizona) 2 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Evelyn also leaves her dear friends, Bonnie Arlia and Julia Valadez, both of Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved her morning paper. Her husband, Jim, was her best friend. Evelyn and Jim enjoyed traveling and going on walks together. She loved her family and friends greatly. Everyone that knew Evelyn loved her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you please consider a donation to the Hospice of the Valley or the charity of your choice.
The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley and Perpetual Help Assisted Living for their compassionate care of Evelyn during her brief illness.
