On Friday, November 8, 2019, Fausta A. Woody, passed away at the age of 71. Fausta was born on December 26, 1947 in Seattle, WA to George and Ann (Miller) Valdez. She received her AA in nursing in 1982 and completed her education with a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix in 2001. Fausta touched many patient and colleague lives during her nursing career. A beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Fausta was preceded in death by her father, George and her mother, Ann. Fausta is survived by sons Andy Jr. (Heather) Setka , Vance (Vicki) Setka and daughter Cree (Tom) Thul and eight grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Kali, Owen, Alivia, Sarah, Nolan, and Mathew. She is also survived by her ex-husband Ray Woody, sister Lori (David) Minnick and brother Mark Brandon. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Hospice of the West.
