We mournfully announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Florine Le June Pier, who passed away on July 19th, 2021 at 85 years of age. She was predeceased by her mother Anabelle Brady, father Howard Pier, and brother Howard Pier Jr. She is survived by her 3 nephews William, John, and Robert Pier and niece Mary Kay Witthoefft.
A playful, loving, and passionate soul, Florine was always the light of the room with a unique ability to make others laugh and feel loved. Florine was born and raised in Corry, PA. After graduating high School, Florine ran several businesses with her mother, including a popular local tavern in downtown Corry. In 1983, Florine moved to Glendale, AZ with her Mom and close friend Martin Brunecz, where Florine owned and operated an assisted living care business, bringing spiritual care, laughter, and joy to local seniors.
Florine was a practicing Christian and attended a local Methodist church in Glendale, AZ. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 9th at West Resthaven Cemetery located at 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301 for those who would like to attend.
