Frances Rose DePinto, loving wife and mother, Frances DePinto, 86 of Glendale, AZ passed away in the early morning hours of Oct. 1, 2012. She had been recuperating from surgery complications for over seven months. She rallied time and time again, but in the end, wasn't able to fight any longer and is now at peace and with her loving family that preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Marco, 87, her children, Joseph, 61, Toni, 57 and Matt, 52, her grandchildren, Jessica, Marco and Jamie, grandsons-in-law Alex and Jason and great grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachael, Jacqueline and Jonathan. Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 16, 1926 to Carmella and Matthew Barbaro.
She was one of 10 children. She contracted polio at age 5 and was unable to walk for several years. With therapy and encouragement from her family, she never let this life-long disability interfere with her role as mother and wife. She lived a full and happy life surrounded by those she loved. In the end, it was her polio that contributed the most to her failing health.
May she rest in peace with our unending love, admiration and thanks. She was truly an inspiration to all that knew her.
