I called her Grandma Frances and this day will be cherished forever. She was 95 and still loved getting “dolled up” and fancy. 
Why were we laughing? 
When our Grandma felt dazzling beautiful, she would say one of her famous quotes; “Come and see me sometime baby… and I’ll give you some candy” This time we asked her to say it and she did. With her hand gesture and all. Taking her right hand and waving it in the air as if making an “S” shape and finishing it at her chin… & batting her eyes. Oh Grandma we will forever love and miss you! 🥰  Full of Spice! 
Even at your 90th Birthday Gala you were a dancing butterfly & dancing all over the dance floor in your high heels 👠! #Goals

You would mow your lawn and even at the age of 96 you would tell me that you need to go home so that you can take care of the yard. I would tell you it is too hot outside and you would follow with, “Nooooo, you just have to get up early”.

Came and brought you some red chile con frijoles y arroz. 🎄 2022 
I love spending time with you! 
You stayed true to making sure our plate was clean. You always told us, “Clean the plate”. And then followed with a dramatic seen of licking the plate clean. That didn’t go so well when I would go home and do that in front of my parents. But now that I am an adult, it made for a great story for my daughter. I was not surprised that she was able to witness on a few occasions the famous “Clean the Plate” action. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Oh grandma you are going to be missed!
 “Any more tortilla” Grandma didn’t want to leave the any remnants of the red chile. “Nooo, it’s expensive” she would say. Which confirms her reasoning and importance of “Cleaning the plate”. 
I just want everyone to know that I put the rest of the beans and rice in the red chile tin tray and no remnants of red chile went to waste. 😁

You were a strong independent single mom who raised 7 children. I remember that even at your older adult age (with your tiny & petite body) you would put up your outside Christmas lights. And not because you weren’t offered help… but because you could do it. But I also remember that you would then tell us how hard it was and it is a lot of work and you make sure we knew how tiring it was. You would even change your tone and act dramatic like if you were about to fall over because you were so tired. 
Oh my gosh Grandma… I love you!  😄🥰

To me she was Grandma Frances and this day was a special memory for us. (95 yrs young)

If you know my grandma, she loves getting “dolled up” and fancy… and when she felt beautiful she would say “Come and see me sometime baby….. and I’ll give you some candy”  she would wave her right as if writing the letter “S” in the air and at completion her hand would rest at her chin. 
During this photo we asked her to say her famous quote and she did ever so elegantly. This quote always made us smile … hence the great photo. 😉 

… You would always take care of yourself and still even wore high heels 👠 at your 90th birthday…  and you could even be found on the dance floor dancing to Spanish music. 🎶

Frances, an angel on earth, has gone home to be with God in heaven, she will be immensely missed by many friends and family. This is a photo from Frances 90th birthday party, it was such a joyous and wonderful celebration. I have many fond memories of visiting with Frances, from my high school years, when I would hang out with her daughter, Patricia, who is one of my best friends💗 My sincere condolences🙏

My deepest condolences to the Family.  May she RIP.

In honor of our Lady of Phoenix, Frances Dimas, my Mama. Family and friends listen to the song " I Love You for Sentimental Reasons" and think of her. Or any love song that causes you to move into actions that show evidence of real love to those in your presense. She said, "Cry good for me. 🥰Your time will come too. 😆Be good for something and keep going." 😍
