Frederick Lawrence Sr. was born on April 21, 1947, in Tulare, California to Herbert Lawrence Sr. and Ola Mae Louder.
Our father was a loving man — kind, patient, understanding, and full of compassion for others. He truly loved people, and he especially loved working with children. He retired from Trevor G. Browne High School, and he would often share stories about his experiences there. Those moments with the children brought him great joy and always seemed to put a smile on his face.
More than anything, our father was a devoted Christian man — a true man of God. He loved sitting at the feet of Christ and encouraging others to follow the Lord. Many of us can remember him lovingly reminding us, “You need to get in church.” He cared deeply about our salvation and wanted each of us to walk closely with God. Today, while our hearts grieve his absence, we also find comfort and peace in knowing where he is.
Giving all praise, honor, and glory to Yahweh, we know that our father was committed to the Lord. Because of that, we do not have to worry about where he rests. We know that today he is with the Lord — no longer suffering, but at peace, sitting with his Heavenly Father. For that, we are truly thankful.
Frederick Lawrence Sr. is survived by Wife: Esperanza Lawrence, Children: Stella Lawrence, Larry Lawrence, Brice Lawrence, Michelle Lawrence, Fred Livingston (Son in Law) Bray Lawrence, Merrick Martinez. Grand-children 15, Great-grandchildren 20.
