George "Scotty" Clark, 90, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Dundee, Scotland his family immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Hoosick Falls, NY, and later in North Adams, MA. As a young man, he moved to Chicago where he worked as an accountant. He was a decorated member of the US Air Corp in WWII. Heading west in 1950, he worked for Oscar Meyer in Los Angeles where he met and married his wife, Joyce. In 1956, they relocated to Phoenix where he began his sales career in the resort and restaurant industry - retiring at the young age of 85. Golf and singing were his passions. He sang with The Phoenicians men's barbershop chorus for 50 years. They traveled within the U.S. and abroad winning many awards and championships. He is survived by his wife Joyce Clark, daughters Jordi Moore and Janis Greathouse, grandsons Scott Beverly, and Alex and Bryce Greathouse. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 26, 6:00 pm, at Shepherd of the Valley Church, 1500 West Maryland Avenue, Phoenix, AZ, 85015.
