

George Entered into Eternal rest on December 17,2025
To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord

George is survived by his wife of 69 years, Gerladine, his three children, Georgia Tichota, Michael Maynard and Terry Ertz. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Timothy, Jason, Chris, and Shawn, Carlynn, Jordyn, and Justin, Heather, Justine, and Ashley. 12 Great Grandchildren, and one nephew, Gerald, and two nieces, Tami and Janet.
George spent 28 years as an Electronic Assembler with Beckman Instruments. After taking early retirement he moved to Phoenix Arizona, where he took miscellaneous jobs to provide for his family. He and his wife began ministry full time in 1995, and George pursued his ministers’ credentials and received his Minister License with the Assemblies of God.
In 2004-2012 he and his wife were Pastors at Apache Assembly of God Church in San Carlos AZ and George was invited by the Tribe to work for them in Drug and Alcohol Prevention. George worked full time for the Tribe, traveling and representing the tribe to other tribal nations.
George lived a full and long life, besides his family, pastoring the Apache Assembly of God Church in San Carlos AZ for 8 1/2 years as the highlight of his life
George is leaving a legacy, and we will carry it on
George is deeply loved by his family and will be missed and remembered every day.
Services will be held on January 6 2026 at 1:00 PM, with Internment following at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary 200 W Beardsley Road Phoenix,Arizona.
