We are sad to announce the passing of Gloria Jean Lafdili (Florendo) on February 14, 2024. She was born in San Luis Obispo, California to the parents of Jennie and Domingo Florendo. Survived by her daughters Mina Coker (Doug) and Nadia Lafdili (Chance), sisters Mary Ann Liner (Scott), Tanya Mendoza (Nicky), brother Mark Florendo (Bonita), and 5 grandchildren Robert, Trent, Amelia, Leah and A.J.
Gloria was a kindhearted, gentle soul that will live on through her children, grandchildren, and others.
She loved to travel and experience other cultures. She loved to have parties with themes, one of them being an “international foods” party that was a hit. She loved adventure and getting dirty, whether it be camping trips to Oak Creek Canyon, the beach, or a drive to a remote desert village in Morocco with 15 pieces of luggage tied to the top of the car. She did it all!
A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us to celebrate the life of Gloria. The celebration will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 10am at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel at 719 N. 27th Ave Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to help those experiencing homelessness at https://circlethecity.org/donate/
