Gordon Parker Smith

Gordon Parker Smith, SSG passed away April 27, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona. Gordon was born March 6, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas to Ausburn and Theda Montgomery Smith. He moved to Phoenix when he was young and went to Washington High School where he became one of the first graduating class. He played football in high school and was often called “Crazy Legs” by his classmates. He married the love of his life Sandy Lee Garrison April 7, 1978. They had their beloved son Ezekial G. Smith. Gordon loved drawing as a hobby but his greatest joy in life was preaching the Gospel as often as he could. When he was called to preach his ministry called ROI, Jesus gave this message to Gordon; “The least of society come to know the most of God” as confirmed in John 17:3 KJV……and this is life eternal that they might know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent. A Military Service will be held for Gordon Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
