

Wayne was born in Albuquerque, NM to Harold Hendricks and Ethel Morgan on September 18, 1951. He served in the United States Air Force Special Operations Command as a Pararescueman (PJ), stationed here in the Valley at Luke Air Force Base. After his military service, Wayne became a paramedic and one of the first mobile medics to service the Sun City area. He later moved back to his home state to continue serving the public in Dulce, NM as an EMS clinical coordinator. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open multiple businesses in Northern NM and eventually led him back to Arizona. After his retirement, Wayne began to enjoy his many passions, most notably aeronautical endeavors, car racing / restoration and any project that allowed him to use his vast creative capabilities.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ethel; wife, Deanna Hendricks; and brother-in-law, Earl Simon.
Wayne is survived by his son Shane; his daughter-in-law Tatum; his grandsons Reese and Noah; his sister Carolyn Simon; his niece Risa and her husband William Fredrickson; his niece Gina Simon; his loving friend of 5 years, Cheryl Summers, and his “Wing Man”, Bill Devine.
Wayne was an originating President and active member of the Arrowhead Kiwanis Club for over 10 years. The Arrowhead Kiwanis club has pledged to use any funds contributed in Wayne’s name to service their ongoing children’s projects in the local communities.
