Harold E. Winters, 85, of Phoenix, AZ died September 25, 2018. "Hal", son of Frank and Ella Winters of Monticello, IL, and loving husband of Patricia Ann Silvernail, passed away at Hospice of the Valley after a long bout with cancer. He is survived by two sons, James and Harold ( "Chip"), six grandchildren, six greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild. Hal worked as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force and retired from Civil Service as a laboratory manager in 1989. Hal loved to travel, fish, hunt, sell real estate and talk, making many friends. Hal and Pat designed and built their own dream home in North Phoenix in 2005. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services for Hal will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Cemetary, 200 W. Beardsley Road, Monday 1 October at 11 AM, with visitation at 10 AM.
