Heni Alice Bond

Heni is preceded in death by her parents Joachim and Lilly Boin and brother Peter. She is survived by her husband, Norman Bond; son Kyle (Jennifer); daughter Nicole; brother Dani (Suzy); and grandchildren Halley (David), Ethan, Jedediah (Kaitlin), Sierra.

Heni was born and raised in Israel. At age 18 she married Norman Bond in Jerusalem, Israel (June 20, 1965). Shortly thereafter they moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where they started a family and in 1973 they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2009 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

Family was important to Heni and she counted it a privilege to be a stay-at-home mom and was overjoyed being a grandma. Besides showering them with love, she instilled Biblical values and practical life skills in all of them.

Heni was blessed with many gifts. She loved to cook and entertain, all while somehow keeping an immaculate house. Artistic and creative talents included painting, jewelry making, sewing, knitting, needlepoint and various crafts. A self-taught musician, she loved to play the organ and sing. She was fluent in multiple languages and designed computer programming that was vital to the success of her husband’s business. She was also extremely proud of becoming a naturalized citizen of the USA.

But above all, the most important thing to Heni was her pursuit of God. She loved studying the Scriptures, being a part of Bible studies, speaking at Christian Woman’s club, and together with Norm shared a love for Israel and a passion for teaching others about the Hebraic roots of Christianity.

Heni will be remembered for many things; that she invested her life in her family and friends, but most importantly that she loved Yeshua Ha Mashiach, and she served Him well.

Celebration of life service to be held at Happy Valley Baptist Church 24220 N 43rd Ave, Glendale, AZ 85310, April 16, 2022 at 10am followed by an open house at the home of Nicole Bond.
