Henry R. Tank Jr., age 68, of Phoenix, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018. He was born on June 27, 1950 to the late Henry Rudolph and Helen Josephine (Zanon) Tank, Sr. in Northville, Michigan. He attended West High School graduating class of 1968; then furthered his education at Arizona State University obtaining an Associate’s in Children's Special Education. Henry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. On June 2, 2017 he married Laurie Duah at their residence in Phoenix. He was a member of American Legion Post #105 and the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting his guns, and spending time with his grandkids. Henry is survived by his loving spouse, Laurie; two children, Patrick Tank and his wife Shannon and Paula Howell and her husband Doug; three step-children, Matthew Sherro and his wife Donna, Kimberly Hannel and her husband Ken, and Seth Duah; a sister, Rita Marie Linderman; nine grandchildren with the tenth on the way; and many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Marie Aileen Tank on January 4, 2012. Memorial services will be at 11:30 am on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022 with the Committal service with Military honors to follow at 1:30 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
