Isabel Kosty

Isabel Kosty passed from this life on Sunday, November 18, 2012 to once again be in the arms of her beloved husband, William Kosty. Isabel was born August 13, 1930 to Bertha and Paul Smerko in Minersville, Pennsylvania. She was 82 years old. Isabel married Bill Kosty on September 20, 1952. They were married for 54 years and were happy and in love all of their lives together. They taught their children what marriage, love and commitment meant and they demonstrated true love each and every day of their lives. Isabel and Bill raised their family in Piscataway NJ and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1972. They later moved to Cochise, Arizona where they enjoyed the desert landscape, small town, and beautiful skies. After Bill passed, Isabel lived with her daughter, Kris Davidson in Prescott, Arizona and then with her son Billy, and his wife in Live Oak, Florida. Isabel is the mother of 9 children, 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Every one cherished her unconditional love and warm heart. We want you to know that mom and dad were the kind of parents that everyone wanted to be with. Our home was always filled with the smells of wonderful food; the laughter of a big family; the warmth of family and friends; and the love of God and their church. They were good people and we were all blessed to have them as our parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Isabel is preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, her infant son, and her beloved husband, Bill Kosty. She is survived by her brother, Victor Smerko of Edison, New Jersey and her children, Stephanie Peardon and her husband David; Billy Kosty and his wife Diana; Cindy Bean and her husband Blake; Jana Sterling and her husband Kevin; Lisa Hunter, Kris Davidson and her husband Allen, Melissa Hutkai and her husband Jay; and Mathew Kosty and his wife Sarah. She also has 15 grandchildren: Jennifer Stookey; Russell Avery; Angela Bosshart; Karen Hulen; Jasmine Knell; Cassandra Kemp; Savannah Sterling; Madison Sterling; Ashley Hunter; Austin Hunter; Joshua Davidson; Autumn Davidson; Dallas Raush-Michener; James Michener, Aaron Hutkai; and Sarah Hutkai. Isabell was also blessed with 18 great grandchildren. Mom and daddy will live on every day in all of us. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Burial to follow.
