Jacqueline Yvonne Phillips

Jacqueline Yvonne Phillips. Also known as Jackie, peacefully passed away, at home on November 21, 2023, at the age of 94 in Glendale, Arizona. She was born on May 16, 1929, in Muncie, Indiana to her loving parents Lindsay and Nettie Conquest. Jackie graduated from Central High School and became a homemaker and later worked at the Motorola Semiconductor plant in Phoenix for 22 years. She was married 53 years to Lloyd Phillips, and missed him dearly, since his passing in October of 2000. She attended Calvary Community Church, with her daughter, for over 20 years. Jackie will be dearly missed by her loved ones and friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace, in her new heavenly home.

Her family will remember her as a vibrant, unique, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jackie loved to host dinners and invite the whole family over to eat vegetable soup, her famous Italian spaghetti, or chicken and noodles. She would often say, “Feed them and they will come.” She never went anywhere, without her makeup on, hair styled, nails manicured and wearing a chic outfit. Finally, through the ups and downs of her life, she was strong and resilient and took care of her family and loved God.

Jackie is survived by her children Lora (Mariano) Velazquez, Larry Phillips, Frank (Diane) Phillips, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Jackie was predeceased by her husband Lloyd Phillips, father Lindsay Conquest, mother Nettie Conquest, and her grandson Michael Phillips.

A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and then a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A reception will be held following the services at 1:00 PM located at 7315 W. Jasmine Trail, Peoria, AZ 85383.
