Those who knew James, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He was always happy, smiling, and loved to make people laugh. James was genuine and laughed with his whole body and being. James’ laughter was so contagious there were times we found ourselves laughing with him and had no idea what was so funny, only that his laugh was infectious. He could be counted on to be the life of the party and the class clown. He loved to help people and was an empathetic soul. James had a caring heart, was kind and gentle, and loved animals. He enjoyed music and got a thrill drifting his cars around any corner. He was a sweet boy with the biggest heart of anyone you’d know. There is a big hole in our hearts that will never be filled. We will miss you, James, so so much.
James is survived by his parents, Rodrigo & Christine, his sister, Camille, brother-in-law, Oscar, his wife, Amy, his grandparents, Patrick & Twee Hogan, and abuela, Rosa Blancas, along with his Aunt, and many Tias and Tios, Cousins, and many, many great friends.
We know James is now in heaven with his abuelo, Rodrigo, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven by many more family members who have gone to be with the Lord.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 565 W Kettering St, Lancaster, CA 93534, on Friday, May 14th, at noon.
