Morales, James W - June 4th 1929 • September 26th 2014 Age 85 born in Chicago, IL to the parents of Emanuel Victor and Aleda Mary. After serving in the Korean War, Jim moved to Phoenix, AZ with his mother and father in 1950 leaving behind his siblings Harold(Nig), Emanuel(Do) and Norma(Pat). AZ is where he called home and where he met his loving wife of 58 years Opal Irene with who he fathered 3 sons, Jimmy, Harold and Steven and helped raise Dean, Clinton, Richard and Danny. Jim worked in the coin operating business before hiring on to the maintence division for the Department of Public Safety where he retired after 26years of service. A hard working man till the very end who in his retirement took up camping boating and fishing. He worked on cars and raced them in his youth on a figure 8 dirt track. He was an avid tool collector and took pride in his collection. He offered a quick smile and a firm handshake to those who crossed his path in life. He will be greatly missed by his 8 grandchildren surviving family and friends.
