James was involved in rodeo roping events. He won numerous belt buckles for roping over the years. He also enjoyed playing golf.
James is survived by his parents Larry and Cynthia Spradlin; wife Amy Spradlin, sons Brett Spradlin, Blake Spradlin; daughter Megan Spradlin; grandchildren Rex, Brylee, Markie, Millie and numerous good friends.
A visitation for James will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary with a graveside following the service and a reception.
