Jane Miller

Jane, age 74 passed away on December 14th , 2010 in her home after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. She was born to Estelle and Robert McBurnett April 23rd, 1936 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was raised in the small western Oklahoma town of Elk City. She came to Phoenix, AZ in 1955 with her parents attending Phoenix Community College until marrying Gerald Clark. They had 3 children together during their 20 year marriage. She was a homemaker for many years. She then pursued her lifelong love of art and travel. She was a member of the Arizona Artist’s Guild, Arizona Watercolor Society and Who’s Who. She is preceded into death by her parents Estelle and Robert McBurnett, sister Janette Yow, son Stuart Clark and husband Samuel Miller. She is survived by twin sister Judy Dycus of Moore, OK; brother James McBurnett (Cynthia) of TN, son Steven L. Clark of Sterling, AK; daughter Stephanie J. Clark (Roger) of Phoenix, AZ and grandchildren Niles Van Buren, Eva Jane Chartier (Timothy), Preston Van Buren, Janae Van Buren, Lauren Miller (Marc) and Lindsay Clark all of Phoenix also Heather Hays (Rob), Robert Federson and Deanna Clark of Sterling, AK. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 18th, 2010, at 1:00 PM at AL Moore Grimshaw Mortuary at 710 W. Bethany Home Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
