Janet was born in a rural area of Muncie, Indiana on December 15, 1937. Her parents were Joseph Jefferson and Charline Hudgel Wallace. In her early childhood, she lived with her parents, her brother Jack, and her sister Marcia in a small, rustic home that lacked modern conveniences. It was heated by an old-fashioned stove heater, had minimal kitchen facilities, and the toilet facilities were in a separate outhouse without running water. Janet's early humble abode motivated her to accomplish lofty goals later in her life.
As a teenager, Janet moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her mother where she lived for the remainder of her life. She married Howard Frintner and had 4 children at an early age. Janet had a huge heart filled with love, particularly for family. Her enthusiasm for family indirectly resulted in a lengthy list of children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and foster children. She deeply loved them all.
Janet's career as a real estate broker in the Phoenix metropolitan area was highly successful and spanned 2 decades. She also owned and managed rental properties. Her successful career enabled Janet to make a huge transition from the Muncie home with an outhouse to a luxurious home in the high-end community of Paradise Valley.
Janet owned several condominiums at Anasazi Village, a 604-unit complex with 5 pools and many other luxury amenities. She served multiple terms as President of the Anasazi HOA Board of Directors.
Janet is survived by her son Howard Frintner and his wife Denise of Prescott, Arizona, her son Bob Frintner of Prescott, Arizona, her brother Jack Jefferson and his wife Laurel of Mangum, Oklahoma, and her long-time companion John Stefanelli of Phoenix, Arizona. She was predeceased by her daughter Mitzi Paschke, her son Michael Frintner, her younger half-sister Denise Williamson, and her mother Charline Hudgel Wallace. The unexpected loss of two children and a much younger half-sister was one of the most difficult, heartbreaking challenges of Janet's life.
Janet Sharon Frintner was a special lady who touched many lives. She will be missed. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her love for God’s word. Her faith in Christ guided her every step.
