

Jaylen David Govan born August 21, 2003, along with his twin brother, Jaden Taloren Govan. Jaylen is the youngest of the two as they were born 7 minutes apart, almost having separate birthdays. Jaden was born at 11:50 pm and Jaylen was so stubborn that he was born almost at midnight at 11:59pm. Jaylen went to paradise to be with God and his loved ones that are waiting with open arms on February 3, 2014 at 2:37 pm. Jaylen began his battle with Aplastic Anemia the day after Mother’s Day 3 years ago. He was strong and never complained. Jaylen attended Eagle Ridge Elementary up until 1st grade when he got sick. He was not able to go back to school due to his illness. Jaylen was such a strong and powerful kid and cared so much for others and thought about and put everyone before himself. He was just so pleasant to be around and always had a smile on his face. Jaylen leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father, Taloren Govan; mother, Danielle Govan; twin brother, Jaden Govan; and brother, Anthony Govan; sister, Madison Boehnke; grandmother’s Clara Govan and Connie Rosenbeck; grandfather, David Boehnke; aunts, Amy, Lisa, Joelle, Tykesha; uncle’s, Karris, Marvin, Taarunn; and his cousins, Diamia, Xzavion, Zaniyah, Priscilla, Kamaurie, and Devion. Jaylen never gave up. He won his fight, Jaylen was just tired and now it is time for him to rest. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church 15002 North 25th Drive Phoenix, Arizona.
