I went to East high with Jesse..he was a really sweet, funny guy who I had a big crush on! I moved to NY and lost contact with him and all my friends my jr year in High school...when I moved back to Gilbert few yrs ago I tried to find Jesse...to see if he was married...etc...( to know the rest of the story as they say)...& I couldn't find him anywhere! (I was saddened by the thought).
 I just by chance looked him up again today to only find that he passed away! I am so sad by the thought of never getting to talk or reconnect with him ever again...this side of heaven! Did he ever marry? How did his life play out?
What took his life? Covid? Cancer? I'll never know...but I pray his life was fulfilling, and blessed! But oh how I would of loved to reconnected with him even to just say 'hello Jesse' how the heck are you?☺️
 I'm sorry for his families tremendous loss...Jesse was such a wonderful man!
Prayers and blessings to his family even now 3yrs later...

Hi. My name is Nicola. Jesse was my first stylist in the 80s when I was a teenager. He worked at Dillard's at Park Central and I'd go to him after high school. 
He helped me believe I was beautiful. I enjoyed my time with him so much and followed him to 2 more salons. 

I'm discussing him with my current stylist as I sit in the chair, discussing what an influential person he was. I goggled him to find he had passed. 

My condolences on your loss. He left a lasting impression and I hope my message does not cause you pain.

I met Jesse  over 40 years ago, we were both so young back then.  Always meeting up at the dance clubs, Jesse loved to dance and was an excellent dancer. We lost touch for a few years but reconnected  later when I was looking for a new stylist.  I guess friendships are made to last because there was Jesse again. We have been best friends forever. We have been through many of life's difficulties with each other. I will miss our conversations and his wise advice. Rest in peace along with Roy Romo, Larry Chavez. We will continue our friendship later again. LOVE YOU. 

I will always keep your memory with me. You were always so kind , funny,caring and always ,did my hair just right! In the last 25+ years, I’ve always followed you to different salons and have missed you this last year. Rest In Peace dear friend!

Uncle Bobby, I love and miss you so much.

When I moved here 31 years ago, the ladies at work told me about Jesse and I started having him do my hair.  Over the years I have followed him to various salons and we have gone from client and hairdresser to friends.  He did my husband's hair, my 2 sons' hair, my daughter's hair and mine.  It was like an invasion when we would all show up at once.  
My best memories of Jesse involve my mom.  She has dementia and he was so kind and patient with her when I would bring her in for her cut and color or her perms.  He would answer her questions over and over and make her feel like a queen when she left.  She was so excited when it was time to go see Jesse. 
We have lost a wonderful man and friend in Jesse.
My sincerest condolences to you all.  I will miss his warmth, smiles and bear hug greetings.
