
Jo Ann Stolp, age 89, died Monday 1-11-16. She was born 9-20-26 in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. Daughter of the late Homer and Lena Magnison. She spent 68 years as the loving wife of Russell Stolp and greatest helpmeet any preacher could have ever dreamed of. She taught Sunday School for nearly 30 years until she was 80 years of age; was head of the ladies' ministries of two churches for over 30 years. She was always a wonderful witness for her Lord and never met a stranger. She raised two of the finest sons any mother ever had. She was the perfect example of the lady in Proverbs 31. she was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lena Magnison; sisters, Opal Spencer and Louise McAdams; brothers, John Magnison and Pete Magnison. Survivors include: her husband, Russell; two sons, Mike and wife, Susie (Phoenix, AZ), and stepson Yang Yang; and Roger, and wife Pam (Phoenix, AZ); grandson, Chris, and wife Michelle (Dallas, TX), and two great step-grandchildren, Lacey and Lane; grandson, James, and wife Cindy (San Jose, CA), and two great-grandsons, Jack and Mikie; grandson Ryan and wife Harriet (Leesville, LA), and four great-step-grandchildren, Jordan, Sarah, Marie, and Genevieve; sister-in-law, Zoe Ann Stolp (Piedmont, SC); sister-in-law, Ersel Magnison (Medicine Lodge, KS); cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held at the cornerstone Baptist church, 4041 E. Phelps Road, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Pastor Terry Randolph officiating.
