From viewing your pictures, it is for sure that Family and Friends was in your DNA. Rest assured, your circle of friends/family will always remember you. I am sure that your mom, dad, aunts and uncles are receiving you with open arms in heaven.

Grandma I love you and miss you from laughing with you on trips to Payson or just sitting at you home to watch your soap operas. I will miss your smile, your laughter how much you loved each and everyone of your grandchildren and great grandchildren. You always made me smile every time I seen you. I will miss the touch of your soft hands. I love you grandma and will always miss you.

At one of Julie Ralls get together Joan had had a couple of coolers with Carolyn. We were talking about everything and she asked me if I wanted to hear a joke. She then proceeded to tell me a dirty joke. Wasn't nasty but dirty. She laughed so hard. I was so surprised and I laughed so so hard. She was such a a big hearted loving person. I will miss her terribly. She always felt like a grandma to me. She made me feel that way everytime we talked. She was amazing.

Grandma was one of a kind. She had that warmth that made you feel like the center of her world. I can imagine her kitchen, where everything started. As I have grown up, I have been told I was not a model child, and even though I might’ve tried to get away with it, there was no escaping the swift justice of her WHITE WHACKER.
Everyone knows what I am talking about—the one that Grandma wielded like a sword. The moment I’d step out of line, she’d chase me through the kitchen, never a laugh as she swatted my behind, probably more out of love than anything else. No matter how much I ran, I came to learn, this was just her way of showing how much she cared. Grandma always reminded me when I was being a little rascal, but it was always followed by that same reassuring hug, the kind that only a grandma can give—soft, forgiving, and full of love.
Grandma was always there for us. She showed up for every football game, cheering from the sidelines like we were the stars of the show. She was always our biggest fan, and the pride in her eyes was undeniable. Grandma had a way of making us feel like we could do anything, just by being there.
Her love didn’t stop with her children or grandchildren. She had this way of making everyone feel important—her great-grandkids, especially. Grandma adored them, showering them with the same love and affection she’d given everyone before. It was easy to see her heart had grown even bigger as the generations grew. Grandma’s legacy was in every laugh, hug, and shared moment.
Now that Grandma is gone, there’s an undeniable space left where her presence once was. But the memories of her, the way Grandma loved her family and made life feel full of joy, will always be with me. Every time I think of those football games, those kitchen chases, and those moments of being wrapped up in her love, I will carry a piece of her with me. I know Grandma won’t really leave—she lives on in the stories, the memories, and the warmth she gave us while she was here.

Grandma,
You were a true example of love and light in this world. Thank you for showing us all how to love unconditionally and without judgment. 
Thank you for laughing at our stupid jokes and always beating us at all of the games and creating the best memories. Thank you for loving and caring for us so deeply.

There aren't enough words to describe the incredible woman, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother you were but your love will forever live on in each one of us kids. 

I miss our check-ins, coffee dates (even if just over the phone), your laugh, the way you worried for all of us, your soft hands and heart, and so much more. You have been the greatest grandmother and friend and I miss you terribly. 
You carried us through this life and now we will forever carry you in our hearts. You have left quite a mark in this world, one that could never be duplicated or forgotten. We are all so blessed to be yours.

To my mom,
Thank you for teaching me to be a great mom and grandma by showing me the unconditional love and understanding.  I loved all of our adventures together from driving cross country in a white van, concerts, and football tailgating and draft parties.  You were willing to go with us with a little convincing you will have fun, and we want to be with you.  You were never a burden we wanted to be with you.  I will miss you more than you will ever know I was expecting you to live forever even though that was not possible.  I want you to know I loved you more even though you would say you loved me more.  I loved taking care of you and I wish it would have been longer.  I know that you and dad are watching football together maybe next year you could send a little love to the Cardinals.  I am so thankful that you will be watching me from heaven.  Give dad a big hug and everyone else.  Thank you for being the best mom I could ask for.  I love you and will miss our daily conversations.  I am not sure who will make sure I am okay every day, but I know you will be watching over all of us.  Love Julie

Grandma Joan welcomed me into the family with open arms. From the moment I met her, she was the kindest, sweetest lady. She was never just Joan for me, always Grandma Joan, even before I was officially in the family. I remember her laughter and smile and it brings me such joy. There are so many memories that I could share, from watching her hold both of my kids as little babies to playing dominos to eating donuts at her favorite donut shop. One that sticks out the most for me, though, is simple. She came to visit me and the kids with Julie and a bunch of the others. Jake was deployed and the kids were still so small and wild. I remember her sitting on my couch, while Julie and the kids played. She told me to bring her my laundry, which was quite a lot, and she sat there and folded every bit of it. We chatted while she folded. She’s probably one of the only people I’ve ever met who said she enjoyed folding laundry. However it wasn’t the relief of not having to do my least favorite chore that I appreciated. It was the care she took in doing the task. The words we exchanged while I took a glimpse of a break from a hectic moment in time. It was in these simple gestures that you could really feel the love and care she had for everyone in her life. Though I didn’t get to spend much time with her in these last few years, her love, and care will stay with me for a lifetime as I know it will for all that she loved. What a great life that she led and what an incredible impact she has left behind.

Joan was a wonderful person and good friend to me and my family.   We were next door neighbors for the first eight years of my life.   My family then moved away finally settling in Washington.  My mom was from a large family so  our ties brought us to back to Arizona several times for visits.  Joan always opened her heart and home.   Like my mom, Joan was one of the great mom's out there.  She will always be remembered.  🙏🏻😇

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a kind loving wonderful woman who loved you, her family, more than life itself.  She will be missed, but always in the hearts of those who loved her.

First visit to Arizona, she treated me like family. Always in my heart. I will miss you greatly.

Joan was the mom to her daughters I knew I wanted to be. From the first time I met her I felt her love and the devotion she gave to her family! I saw  her always being there for them in times of need and in everyday life.  She would come hang out during  the day and play games with us newly mom's. She would do the laundry, wash the dishes, help with any needs around her! Just there... to make it better! She always had a listening ear.  She would laugh with us and cry with us and had wonderful sarcastic advice if we were mad or upset about something! Her quiet, sound, warm presence will be greatly missed! It was such an honor to get to know you and be a part of your family. We are going to miss you so much that words can't really express it. JR will miss bringing you or having you over for breakfast. Eliza, your little "pill", already misses you and asks to still go to your house to see you. Journey will miss when we'd have dinner with you and loved your pop ins at our house. I wish you were able to meet little Olivia but I know you have already met her and love her as much as you did all your grand and great-grand kids. We will forever love you and cherish every memory we've been grateful enough to have had with you.
