John "Jack" D. Alcott Jr.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John D. Alcott, Jr., “Jack” on February 10, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on November 10, 1934, in Milford, MA. John was a Corporal in the Marine Corp and served in Korea. He was an Assistant Manager for the Mountain Bell/US West Telephone Company and after 31 years, he retired and went into home construction with his brother. He enjoyed antiquing, restoring furniture, watching his son and great grandson race dirt bikes, and building jigsaw puzzles with his daughter-in-law.

He is survived by his loving wife Sherry, son Stephen (Brenda), daughter Kathi (Dale), sister Barbara, and stepsons Michael (Sharon) and Mitchell (Tatyana), 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a large extended family. He is preceded in death by his daughter Johnnie, grandson Stephen Jr. “Bubba”, great grandson Atlas, brother Ron, sister Beverly, sister Pam, and stepson Steven.

Funeral services will be held on March 8, 2024, at 2:30pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
