John Everett Pendleton

John was born September 26, 1935 in California to Willard and Ruth Pendleton.

He leaves behind his wife, Veda Beth Holyoak Pendleton. Prior to his marriage to Veda he had been blessed to have a daughter Patricia Smith and a grandson Leonardo Esperanza, daughter Ronda Webber and a son Willie Pendleton. When John married into the Holyoak family he inherited many nieces and nephews, Cliff and Tracie Wright and family, Darin and Jodie Marlin and family, Vonn Holyoak and family, Ryan Holyoak and family and Austin and Kendra Foster and family. John will be greatly missed by his loving family and his many friends

John had a love for helping others and always had a smile on his face. He was faithful, kind and could always be found with the children. His favorite time was spent tinkering with computers and playing softball. Softball was his passion and his place was there on the pitchers mound.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6 to 7pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1315 S. 24th Street in Mesa, AZ. Another viewing will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10 to 10:45am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fort Thomas, AZ. Graveside services will follow at 11am at the Emery Cemetery in Fort Thomas, AZ.
