

Jolene "Jo" Marie Stockton (nee Kayser) of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away Saturday, March 1, at the age of 66, surrounded by her loving family. Jo was born March 19, 1958 in Lima, Ohio, the third child and eldest daughter of Thomas and Geraldine (nee Gremling) Kayser. She married her first husband, Michael "Mikey" Conway Colgan, in 1978 and bore her only son, Michael Thomas, the following year. Jo and Mikey divorced in 1981. Jo married her second husband, Michael Dwayne Stockton, in 2001 and became a stepmother to Alex.
Jo spent her career in banking with the bulk of her time in management at the National Processing Center. She also spent several years at Anderson Lock and Safe overseeing billing. She was a loyal member of Happy Valley Baptist Church and taught the weekly AWANA children's classes.
Jo was a caretaker and caregiver throughout her life. She was a loving sister, mother, wife, and neighbor. Jo was an avid musician. She played the 12-string guitar and was part of the church choir at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Phoenix. Her heart, generosity, and selflessness knew no bounds.
Jo leaves behind her husband Mike, son Michael, stepdaughter Alex, grandson David, five brothers David, Ron, Mike, Tom, and Bob, and five sisters Beth, Joan, Linda, Ruth, and Annita, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
A graveside for Jolene will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W Beardsley Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
